The Accord is 10.2 inches longer than the Civic, and its wheelbase is 3 inches longer. The Civic weighs almost 500 pounds less than the Accord, and it sits 2 inches less high. The turning diameter of the Civic is 35.7 feet, and 38.1 feet for the Accord. Surprisingly, the Civic has more front headroom, but the Accord has a larger interior, with 5.4 more cubic feet of passenger space and 0.7 cubic feet of extra trunk space.
