Study Shows Owning a New Honda Vehicle is a Positive Experience

Many seasoned drivers would say that the first 90 days of owning a new vehicle are the most important. During this chunk of time, impressions are formed and the bond between man (or woman) and machine is solidified. But what if things go wrong? There's nothing worse than becoming the owner of a new auto that is plagued with problems from the very beginning. Thankfully, drivers of new Honda autos don't have to worry.
Recently, the revered automotive reviewers at J.D. Power and Associates conducted their annual "2012 U.S. Initial Quality Study" in order to figure out which brands demonstrate the highest level of quality during the first 90 days of new vehicle ownership. As you can probably surmise, Honda ranked high.
More specifically, our favorite automaker placed number five overall and number one for non-premium automotive brands. While all Honda autos perform well within the first phase of ownership, J.D. Power and Associates does highlight a few all-stars. The Honda Odyssey minivan, Honda Pilot SUV and Honda Ridgeline pickup truck have all been found to make stellar first impressions.
Ironically enough, all three vehicles are made in the exact same location, the Honda manufacturing plant in Lincoln, Alabama. Mark Morrison, spokesman for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, says, "We believe we are going in the right direction when it comes to quality and we are pleased with the industry rankings of the Odyssey, Pilot and Ridgeline."1
Learning about awards and recognitions can be helpful when selecting a new vehicle. However, Hamilton Honda maintains the best way to really know a Honda auto would be to test drive one yourself. If you agree, simply stop by 655 US Highway 130, Hamilton, NJ at your earliest convenience and let us know which model you'd like to take for a spin.
